Michael presented virtually to AIA Golden Empire on the Path to Architectural Licensure as part of his role as a volunteer Licensing Advisor for AIA California’s Academy of Emerging Professionals, sharing practical guidance on navigating the AREs, documenting AXP experience, and building a strategic study plan; he drew on firsthand licensure experience and advising work to answer attendees’ questions about timelines, common pitfalls, and resources, and emphasized mentorship, professional networks, and disciplined study habits as keys to progressing confidently toward licensure.
